Advanced home-cockpit hardware for serious sim pilots.
Follow the setup checklists carefully to get connected for the first time.

Our products are driven by the MobiFlight software.
MobiFlight version 11 was released in April 2026. We have updated this page for MobiFlight 11.
Some other pages across this site may contain information relevent to MobiFlight 10. Please bear with us while we update this content, and if you have any queries please contact support or ask a question on Discord.

You may be prompted to upload MobiFlight Firmware to devices with a compatible chip.
This chip is present in a wide range of equipment, from Flight Simulator periphals to 3D printers.
Not all users will receive the popup, but those who do must follow this instruction.
The firmware upload replaces the firmware that shipped with the device, rendering it inoperable.
Therefore, you MUST click CANCEL.
When asked to disable this feature altogether. click OK.

You can check whether this feature is active on the MobiFlight Modules menu. Ensure the box shown below is unticked.

This video has been temporarily removed while we update it for MobiFlight 11.
You may still view it here.
In the meantime, the written checklists will get you up and running.

MSFS refers to both FS2020 and FS2024
FSX / P3D pilots: install the relevant FSUIPC version (free)

Unpowered USB hubs do not provide a sufficiently stable voltage
Your hardware appears as CXL Autopilot or CXL Radio

An Aircraft Profile is a small file which contains the instructions for each button, knob and display on your hardware.
Each simulator has a "Default" profile which works well with the stock aircraft and many addons, particularly General Aviation
Aircraft Profiles are also available for specific aircraft, offering improved functionality
If you have more than one MobiFlight device, e.g. Autopilot and Radio Stack, just choose one of them for now.
We will add the second device later.
In MobiFlight, open the downloaded Aircraft Profile using the File -> Open menu:

Enter the profile by clicking the > button

Now you can see all the functions of the Aircraft Profile:

Our Aircraft Profiles are designed to get you up and running straight away without any extra work
If you do wish to customise how your hardware works with a particular aircraft, feel free to modify any of the configurations shown here
Our support page You Have Control will help get you started

Run the Aircraft Profile

At this point your displays will light up and the device is functional
If you purchased the Circuit Avionics Radio Stack, push system selector 1 at the top of the device to activate the displays

Don't panic. We understand that for many of our pilots, it's your first time using MobiFlight, and for many more, your first time using this kind of hardware. We offer a friendly support service which can get you on your feet.
As a first step, please scroll up and re-check that you've gone through the checklists correctly.
A small percentage of pilots have reported that they had to restart their computer the first time they used the hardware.
There is a lot of documentation available, including Troubleshooting guides and Useful Information.
You may also contact us and we will be happy to help!

If you have more than one MobiFlight device, e.g. Autopilot and Radio Stack, it's easy to run them both simultaneously through MobiFlight.
See Managing Multiple Devices for more information.

There is a lot of documentation available, including Useful Information.
Support is a long-term project. MobiFlight is regularly updated, as is flight simulator, and there are always new aircraft to fly.
All pilots are encouraged to join the Circuit Avionics Discord and the MobiFlight Discord. When you make a profile, please share it with the community for the good of everyone.
