Important
The MobiFlight setting Automatically perform Retrigger Action with Run Mode should be disabled when using this profile. Failure to do so causes unwanted commands when the profile is Run.
Pilot Notes
Transponder Knob
iFly only let us turn the Transponder controls left or right. We cannot say "go to this position".
As a workaround, pilots should do the following before clicking Run:
Rotate the physical Transponder knob on your hardware to the STBY (Standby) position.
Rotate the two aircraft switches to the anticlockwise position, as shown:
Now once you Run the profile, the correct modes will be set when you rotate your Transponder knob.
Microphone (MIC)
The hardware correctly changes the cockpit MIC controls (e.g., from COM1 to COM2) but at the moment this is not recognised by Vpilot. This is an aircraft issue.
Monitor (MON)
It is possible to monitor the COM2 frequency but there is a bug on the iFly which means this only works if COM3 is also monitored. Therefore, we have set the COM2 MON button to also monitor COM3 as a workaround.
IDENT
There is no transponder IDENT light on the iFly 737 MAX; therefore, the button will not illuminate. This is the correct behaviour.
