Pilot Notes

As of SU4 the A400M radio stack has some bugs which we have worked to mitigate.

The COM controls have been rewritten to cater to this aircraft specifically.

There are bugs present in the system as of SU4. The transmit buttons don't actually function except visually, so we have elected to disable the transmit button (since it's not actually implemented on the aircraft).

Receive works properly so it is possible to pick up your ATIS on COM2 without tuning out of COM1.

VOR and ILS are tuned directly by the MFD (known on Airbus' civil aircraft as MCDU) — not the knobs.

ADF does not appear to be implemented for the aircraft, so we disabled it. These controls and displays are available for reassignment to another function, if desired.

Transponder mode selector is functional, ALT RPTG OFF and XPNDR both have the same function (transponder on).
