Important
The MobiFlight setting Automatically perform Retrigger Action with Run Mode should be disabled when using this profile. Failure to do so causes unwanted commands when the profile is Run.
Pilot Notes
TOGA
TOGA is commanded when N1 THR is pushed for 0.5 seconds.
Heading Modes
HDG is controlled the same as the real aircraft. Push the HDG knob to engage HDG SEL. Push the button underneath to engage HDG HOLD. This can easily be swapped if desired.
VOR / LOC
The Boeing 747 has LOC but not VOR. To fly a VOR radial on the real Boeing 747, enter the station as the next FMC waypoint. Enter the INTC CRS at LSK 6R and execute. The radial is drawn on the ND. Steer towards it and engage LNAV to fly the radial.
STD Baro Pressure
When exiting STD pressure mode, the knob should be pushed before rotating to the new local pressure. This is a limitation of the Sparky B744.
