Pilot Notes
Some cockpit functions are not currently exposed to hardware developers.
We are hopeful that this will be improved in a future AAU (Aircraft & Avionics Update), allowing us to revisit this profile and implement these functions with the level of fidelity the aircraft deserves.
BARO
Push the BARO knob to set STD pressure.
MINS
As on the aircraft, push the knob to toggle between BARO and RADIO minimums.
It is not currently possible to configure the toggle switch for this function because the required value is not exposed to hardware developers.
EFIS Map
The Range knob controls the captain's HSI range, used for traffic and radar (FS2024 only).
It is not currently possible to set the range on the upper MFD using hardware controls.
The Mode buttons toggle between Full and Rose on the Captain's HSI.
Airspeed
Push the IAS knob to toggle the IAS source between FMS and MAN.
When IAS SOURCE is set to FMS, the hardware display will blank.
Push the C/O button to toggle MACH.
Autothrottle is implemented on the toggle switch. It is not necessary to use the N1 THR or SPEED buttons.
NAV Source
NAV Source is either FMS 1 or NAV 1/2. The selection is made using the NAV SWAP button.
Whether LNAV or VOR LOC is pushed, the appropriate mode will be engaged based on the aircraft's NAV Source.
Parking Brake
Parking Brake is implemented on the F/D 2 switch and LED.
