Pilot Notes
This profile is based on the MSFS Default Profile — it's worth reading those Pilot Notes, as features such as the Parking Brake toggle on FD2 and the NAV mode logic (VOR/LOC/GPS) work the same way.
Master Switch
For the autopilot to function, the AP/Trims master switch must be in the ON position. Bus 3 on the main bus must be powered.
850 Mode
The aircraft is equipped with a torque limiter to prevent engine damage, particularly during takeoff.
In climb and cruise, when flaps are retracted, the torque limiter can be disengaged to allow engine torque of over 100%. This is known as 850 mode.
850 mode can be engaged by pushing the N1 THR button on your hardware. The button illuminates when 850 mode is engaged.
DH MINS
For this aircraft, we have added DH control for the Radar Altimeter.
On the aircraft, the toggle switch must be set to DH Set in order for the DH to be displayed. On your hardware, this is actioned by moving the MINS toggle switch to the downward position.
There is no BARO MINS on this aircraft.
Map range control is supported for the GNS530 and GNS430. We're also looking to add compatibility for the PMS GTN750 and TDS GTNXi — if you own either of these and would like to see map range functionality added, get in touch and we'll make it happen.
