New Profiles for Circuit Avionics Radio

New profiles are available for the Circuit Avionics (formerly CircuitXL) Radio.

These are released in preparation for the upgraded R24 model radio. They are fully backwards compatible with the earlier R23, although they do require MobiFlight version 10 or above.

There are 3 changes from the previous profile:

  • When you hit "Run" the system mode LEDs (1 and 2) at the top of the panel now illuminate. This is a prompt to push one of them and initialise either system 1 or system 2. This change has no effect on the R23 model as the toggle switch always initialises a system.
  • Brightness control has been added for the displays. By default, the brightness is 3. Pushing the Nav knobs will now adjust the brightness of the displays. Reducing brightness to 0 will blank the displays. Sunglasses are recommended at brightness 15. 😎 You can alter the default brightness from 3 by editing the RADIO BRIGHTNESS Output function and changing the expression on the Modify tab.
  • A blink action has been added to the Transponder Ident LED. Easily disabled on the Modify tab if you prefer.

As with everything, these options are customisable to suit your personal preference.
