CONTRAIL DASSAULT FALCON 50 NOW SUPPORTED

The legendary Dassault Falcon 50 has arrived in the Circuit Avionics aircraft lineup, with dedicated profiles for both the Universal Autopilot and Radio Stack.
Our implementation has been designed around the aircraft's actual systems rather than trying to make it behave like a modern autopilot.
About the Contrail Falcon 50
The Falcon 50 is a classic trijet business aircraft with a character all of its own. As an older generation of aircraft, its avionics and autopilot systems are more hands-on than those found in modern business jets, making it a particularly interesting aircraft to fly.
Contrail’s Falcon 50 is a particularly impressive interpretation of this classic aircraft, featuring completely custom avionics including the Collins 85C EFIS, Garmin MX20 and GNS-XLS flight management computer, alongside a highly detailed recreation of the aircraft’s systems and a fully featured autopilot. The result is a fascinating blend of classic Falcon character and modern avionics, with a cockpit that feels both authentic and genuinely distinctive.
For Universal Autopilot
The dedicated Falcon 50 profile brings the aircraft's autopilot system onto the Universal Autopilot with a carefully considered hardware mapping that follows the logic of the real aircraft.
Special attention has been given to the Falcon 50's unique operating procedures, including its NAV Source selection, climb and descent modes, VNAV descent operation, Flight Director behaviour and Go Around function.

For Radio Stack
The Falcon 50 Radio Stack profile provides integration with the aircraft's COM and NAV systems, with ADF2 enabled for the hardware and additional functionality added to the transponder mode switch.
The standard radio functions are otherwise handled through the familiar MSFS profile structure, keeping the experience consistent with the rest of the Circuit Avionics aircraft lineup.

Built for the Falcon 50
The Falcon 50 rewards pilots who take the time to understand its systems. We recommend familiarising yourself with the aircraft documentation before flying it, particularly the autopilot procedures.
The Circuit Avionics profiles are designed to make that system physical, giving you the controls and feedback needed to operate the aircraft as intended.
